Raffles University Alabbar School of Management
The School of management has been named as Alabbar School of Management (ASM) to honour the business vision of Mohamed Al Abbar, the head of the EMAAR Group which is ranked highly in the Forbes list of global business entities. Our founder Chairman, Mr. V K Gomber and Mohamed Al Abbar worked together to construct the world’s tallest building the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
The fundamental principles that guide the ASM are the shaping of responsible executives who would not only be professionally competent and true leaders but would also maintain ethical business practices and a sustained commitment to accomplish the task.
ASM provides a highly capable faculty with matured and stable teachers, state-of-the-art infrastructure, high academic standards, conductive academic discipline and a spectrum of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. It conducts various management programme aimed at grooming and developing students into professional managers or management scholars of international standards. Special emphasis is given to all round personality development in keeping with the ASM ethos, opportunity of international exposure, character and competence building, extra language learning (Japanese), industrial visits & training and learning through projects.
